This website met me with an offer to get my resume evaluation from a trusted resume expert. To be honest, I had great doubts that my resume would be evaluated good; it was pretty outdated and needed serious improvements. That’s why I came to a resume writing website – to get a professional assistance and make my resume competitive on the job market.

The site itself is designed quite well, with all those career articles and prices shown on the front page. Moreover, they promise 2 times more interview or free rewrite, so I decided to try.

Price policy

The company offers two packages to choose from: Professional growth (a single resume for $99), Career evolution (resume, cover letter and two revisions for $189), and Executive priority (with LinkedIn and 2 days delivery for $349). As I needed a resume only, I stayed on the first package which, by the way, was fairly priced.

Details of order

After I chose the package, I was asked to submit billing information. After that, I paid and placed an order. I uploaded my old resume and a title of a job I was going to apply for, as on the site there was no instruction of how this all worked. Soon I got a letter stating that a writer has been assigned to work on my resume and will finish working on it in around a week.

Quality of writing and support

I tried hard to locate some contact information on the site, but haven’t found any! No phone number, no chat. After looking up for around 5 minutes I only found an email address. I don’t think they can provide sufficient support by means of it. As for my resume, I didn’t receive any message for around 5 days, and only then my writer asked for some clarifications. I didn’t know why it took him so long – it was only a resume, no extra documents.

Conclusion

A resume was delivered to me in 8 days from the moment of ordering. Well… too little time has passed to judge about its helpfulness. Nevertheless, I was not very happy about the content. The writer focused solely on my related experience and ignored other workplaces and some of my valuable skills. And my package didn’t include a revision to ask for corrections. So, in spite of fair price and following the instructions, I still cannot say I’m happy with this service. Next time, I am going to use more reliable soursec, such as Perfect Resume Company.
